The Costa Daurada comprises the Catalan coast from Alcanar to Cunit. This section of the coast is one of the primary tourist destinations in Catalonia, thanks to its excellent location and wonderful climate.
Tarragona has also been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which has made the city as well as the province into much, much more than only a seaside holiday resort.
